Liverpool look to replace Sadio Mane with Jeremy Duko
It won’t be long before Liverpool are looking to replace Sadio Mane with a player like the proverbial. Mane’s level last season was poor and the need to eventually replace him will be high on Liverpool’s agenda in the near future, if not this summer.
Reports indicate that Jeremy Duques is the player designated to replace Sadio Mane in the future.
The Belgian was linked with a move to Liverpool last summer, but eventually signed for French club Rennes. The striker toured Anfield with the Liverpool representative, but did not sign with the Reds last summer.
Doku’s father revealed that they had a chat with Jurgen Klopp, and the German manager said the Belgian could eventually replace Mane.
“[Jurgen Klopp] He made it clear to us that Jeremy could replace Sadio Mane in a few years,” said Dooku’s father.
Lazio hope to sign Xherdan Shaqiri
The Swiss international was on the sidelines of Liverpool’s first team, and didn’t play regularly.
Liverpool are expected to sell some of their squad this summer to make way for new signings, and Shaqiri could be one of many players who will be involved in the exodus.
Reports in Italy claim that Lazio, under Maurizio Sarri, are interested in signing the attacking midfielder this summer. Shaqiri played only 14 matches in the Premier League last season, the majority of which were on the bench.
Wijnaldum signs for Paris Saint-Germain
Jenny Wijnaldum He finally chose his new club, and it came as a surprise because he decided to sign with Paris Saint-Germain instead of Barcelona.
The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Barcelona where a reunion was discussed with his compatriot Ronald Koeman. However, PSG went ahead and offered Wijnaldum a lucrative contract to secure his signature earlier today.
Wijnaldum has signed a three-year contract with PSG and is expected to be officially revealed as a PSG player after Euro 2020.
“Joining Paris Saint-Germain is a new challenge for me,” Wijnaldum said. “I joined one of the best teams in Europe and I am determined to fulfill my desire and determination on this ambitious project.”
