Chelsea borrower Trevoh Chalobah made himself quiet in France high in the statistics table – Talk Chelsea

Trevoh Chalobah

Out of all the names of Chelsea employees and young people coming up through the ranks, one that is not often mentioned or hyped is Trevoh Chalobah, the brother of the former blue, Nathaniel.

The latter unfortunately did not come to Chelsea, but there was always this belief that Trevoh had a little more about him and he could handle it at the club.

So why is he hardly in anyone’s discussions about what’s going to happen to him next season? Because with Thomas Tuchel looking for a defensive midfielder who can also play into the center, then Trevoh is your guy in that sense.

He has had a very impressive loan season at Lorient in France, and he has quietly made a name for himself in European football.

Not only has he performed in high quality for the team, he has made a couple of U21 Sofa Score state charts for the season, based on Europe’s top 5 leagues.

Most interceptions were made p / 90 – Chalobah came in second place with 2.77.

Highest dribbling success rate – Chalobah came in third with 73.1%.

This is pretty impressive to make these charts when you think about some of the big names he was against.

Chalobah has certainly the potential to make it to Chelsea and I wonder if Tuchel might want to look at him when he returns to Chelsea this month and give him some pre-season to show what he can do.

It’s certainly an interesting situation, but in reality I can only really see him go on loan again with a contract until 2023 for the 21-year-old.
