When a high-caliber player is injured and / or lost for the season, as happened with Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys last season, it may give everyone some fear for the next season. A person like the team quarterback obviously has a massive influence on what happens in a given game, especially when they are one of the top in relation to the league.
However, this is June, when hope springs up forever, and for the Cowboys, things feel much more optimistic than they have been for a while. A huge reason for this is Dak Prescott’s return to the sub-center from his gruesome ankle injury.
When we talk about the injury, it looks like it’s something that Dak Prescott would rather move on from completely. Honestly, who can blame him?
Dak Prescott on injury:
“I have buried the damage. I’ve buried it mentally. And I think you (media) and a lot of people around have to help me and bury it as well as we move on.
“Put it right on the tombstone.”

While it is, of course, a subject of extreme fascination, it makes sense that Prescott wants to move on from something related to harm. It’s something he’s had to think about every day since it happened, and was a prominent topic in the course of him landing a new contract, plus it’s the thing that everyone wanted to know about when minicamp happened.
Dak Prescott has always been one of the more laser-focused players on the Cowboys throughout his time on the team, so it’s no surprise to see him with tunnel vision about the future. What’s more is that his future continues to be on a nice track when Wednesday brought the news that he is now an athlete in Jordan.
The Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott leaves adidas and signs a five-year deal with Jordan Brand, per. Source close to the situation. Prescott will be the only Jordan Brand QB, the only Cowboys player and the highest paid NFL player on the Jordan Brand list.

Prescott switching from Adidas to Jordan had been something that felt inevitable if you looked closely at photos of the quarterback to this point. Hopefully this is yet another step towards more results for him in his career.
