Islamabad United beat Quetta Gladiators for 133


Abu Dhabi: Islamabad United players threw the ball with a controlled line and length to beat Quetta Gladiators for 133 in the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six.

Sent to bat first, the wrestlers struggled under pressure from the start after losing the openers for just 23 times. Usman Khan looked a bit aggressive at first but the right-handed hitter came out after scoring only 14 times. Fav de Plessis managed to score only five.

Jake Wetherald took some responsibility and continued to mark the scoreboard. He scored 43 points from 35 balls with the help of three limits and sixty.

Azam Khan also resisted a bit and smashed 26 runs of 23 balls that were tied with a bound of six and two.

Hassan Ali, Muhammad Waseem Jr. and Muhammad Musa each packed two wickets each while Akef Javed and Shadab Khan shared a wicket each.
