Rashid Khan scored his personal best in T20 cricket, taking 5-20 out of his four titles as Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs to continue their lead at the top of the league. Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 points table. Rashid ran in the middle standings for Zalmi which included big hitters like David Miller, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford and others. Shoaib Malek fought a one-on-one battle with his team as his 48 ball 73 went to no avail as Zalmi was restricted to 160 for eight in 20 times.

Put at bat, Qalandars had a terrifying nightmare Wahab Riad And Mohamed Irfan caused all kinds of problems for the batsmen. Lahore Qalandars quickly found himself swinging at 25 for four for 7.3.

Ben Dunk and Tim David came to the rescue with an impressive 81-round partnership to bring their team back from the dead. Dunk was sent off for 33 good 48 balls while David remained undefeated on 64 of just 36 balls.

James Faulkner produced some late fireworks with 7-ball 22 cameos to help the Qalandars score 170 for eight.

In response, Zalmi found himself in full swing immediately with Faulkner removing the two hatches – Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali – in the second.

Malik and Miller fixed the ship with a pose 51 times for the third wicket. Rashid Khan then took center stage by breaking the back of Chasing Zalmi with his five-star performance.


Even as chaos spread around him, Malik fought a solo fight to keep his team in pursuit. But Peshawar Zalmi could never recover from the damage done to Rashid and Shaib’s penultimate elimination, which proved to be the final nail in the coffin.

Lahore Qalandars leads the PSL points table with 10 points from six matches. Peshawar Zalmi’s third defeat means he is fourth in the table with six points from six matches – the same number of points as the two teams in second and third places.
