R Ashwin, owner of the NGO India, reiterated his view that prostitution is too difficult to legally fall and noted that Pakistani Saqlan Mushtaq was one of the few who did it right.
In a show on his YouTube channel, Ashwin was discussing the history of a ‘doosra’ or a rendition made by a non-spinning player who strays away from the right batsman. Former South African team analyst Prasana Aguram struggled to relax in how much the bowler could flex his elbow to allow him to throw a ‘Dosora’.
However, India outside the vertigo felt that allowing such relaxation would open a can of worms and was also unfair to cricketers who are learning it the right way from a young age.
Ashwin added, “If you can drop it cleanly like Saqlan Mushtaq, no problem. But you can only do that while bowling at a slower pace which allows the batsman to pick it up easily.”
