That Detroit Lions have only one more practice together as a full team before most players split until training camp in late July. We have already seen lots of developments from both the first two days of minicamp and the few weeks of organized team activities that preceded them.

So on Wednesday night after Lions’ second minicamp practice, I jumped on our Twitch account and gave a quick summary of my biggest observations from both this week and entire OTA sessions that I was able to attend in the last few weeks. To organize my thoughts, I went position by position to make sure I hit all the main stories from practice.

Topics include my initial thoughts on Jared Goff and the backup quarterback position that Lions wide receivers have impressed in practice so far, TJ Hockenson’s growing chemistry with Goff, early impressions of Lions’ renewed secondary and my three biggest takeaways from practice so far.

You can listen to all my thoughts in the short podcast below, which does not even crack 20 minutes.

You can also see the extended version of my summary from minicamp, where I only answer live questions from Lions fans on our Twitch page.
