Among all 32 teams in the NFL, the Las Vegas Raiders rank above the rest in terms of COVID-19 vaccination rates.

NFL Mini-fights have begun and ended this week, but the main theme around the event has been with regard to the COVID-19 vaccine, especially the vaccine hesitation. The football world has listened to emphatic attitudes towards the vaccine and non-binding statements about whether they will be vaccinated. It made many wonder who did the best in terms of vaccination rates.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is Las Vegas Raiders “May be the best in the league” in terms of COVID-19 vaccination rates. Bonsignore also added that all of Las Vegas’ coaching staff has been vaccinated.

The Raiders obviously take this very seriously. There is a warning for teams if they reach the 85 percent vaccination threshold, and that is a relaxation of COVID-19 protocols. It is not known if the Raiders have officially reached this threshold.

Earlier this week, vaccination doubts took center stage in the NFL. Washington Football Teams head coach Ron Rivera brought a COVID-19 vaccine specialist to speak with the team. After the interview, defensive lineman Montez Sweat said he will not get the vaccine until he gets more facts.

“I’m not a fan of it,” Sweat said. via Sam Fortier from The Washington Post. “I probably won’t get vaccinated until I get more facts and all that kind of thing. I’m not a fan of it at all.

“… I have not caught COVID yet. I can not see myself treating COVID until I actually get COVID. ”

New Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold was not required to get the vaccine, says he still weighs his options before emphasizing that it is everyone who has the personal choice to get the vaccine or not.

The NFL issued a statement to the teams to let them know that anyone who has been vaccinated does not have to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at their respective facilities, while those who have not yet been inoculated should continue to mask up. The Raiders have gone up on the plate to ensure all players and staff are vaccinated before the 2021 season.
