Jeddah releases pictures of a spectacular pit building

The organizers of the Saudi Grand Prix have released photos of a spectacular pit building that will be installed in Jeddah for this season’s inaugural race.

Formula 1 travels to Saudi Arabia for the first time in December with the penultimate round of the season scheduled to take place from December 3-5 before the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a week later. The new street track in Jeddah is designed to be a high-speed test and hosts the race under floodlights, and the latest development to be confirmed is the pit and paddock building.

Now named Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the trail winds along the shores of the Red Sea and the pit building returns to the shore and is currently planned to be the only brand new location in the 2021 calendar.

“We are delighted to share these exclusive renditions of our amazing pit and team building with the world today,” said Saudi Automobile & Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) President Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al Faisal. The pit building stands as a symbol of everything this breed represents: inviting, modern and spectacular.

“There are only six months left to the top of motorsport when Saudi Arabia, the preparations are going incredibly fast as our dedicated team takes on the first ever Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix. We can’t wait to welcome you to Jeddah next December for a weekend of world-class racing and world-class entertainment. ”
