That Seattle Seahawks wrapped up their on-field OTAs this week, and then next week is on track for mandatory minicamp. But when the team returns from the weekend break, it looks like there will be at least one new face on the list as the team released a defensive back on Friday.
The Seahawks today dismissed free agent DB LaDarius Wiley. So that creates an opening on the 90-man list.

LaDarius Wiley was not pulled out of Vanderbilt in 2019 and had previously spent time with Tennessee Titans before signing with the Seahawks in mid-May. Wiley was one of four non-rookie rookies that the Hawks added in the weeks after the draft, but it looks like the team had seen enough to know it was unlikely he would make an impact.
Wiley got his work cut out so he could place the list in safety, with starters, Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, well anchored and both Ryan Neal and Marquise Blair had at times blinked. There is clearly a lot of time for training camp and anything can happen, but it will probably take a significant development for these four to be unusual from the spots they have on the depth map.
