DK Metcalf and Damien Lewis named to’s All-Under-25 team

Thaw Seahawks stars have been recognized by the NFL as some of the best young talents in the game.

DK Metcalf, 23, and Damien Lewis, 24, were both recognized by the league’s Nick Shook in latest edition by’s annual All-Under-25 team. The pair were the first Seahawks to be named on the list when Michael Dickson received the honor in 2019.

Both definitely deserve it. Metcalf has pulled 141 catches to 2,203 yards in two years in the NFL and set a franchise record of 1,303 yards last year. He also has 17 touchdowns so far in his career, and along with Tyler Lockett, he has established one of the most receiving duos in the league.

Lewis, who Seattle took in the third round of the 2020 draft, shone in his rookie year and excelled in both pass and run blocking. His performance earned him a spot on PFWA’s All-Rookie team. This season, he moves from right guard to left guard, with Gabe Jackson going to his old place after Seattle acquired him in a trade.

Metcalf’s “teammates” in the receiving end are Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown (who will now be teaming up with veteran Julio Jones in Tennessee), while Lewis will be joined by players such as Mekhi Beckton and super Bowl master Tristan Wirfs. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Packers CB Jaire Alexander and Colts K Rodrigo Blankenship were among the other young stars recognized by the league.
