If Pelican Damian Lillard wants, choosing training is easy

The New Orleans Pelicans participated in whirlpool trade rumors related to Damian Lillard For the past few days though at this point there was a lot of smoke but no fire.

Lillard is said to be unhappy with the direction the Trail Blazers are heading and the recent controversy over their hiring Chauncey Billups Maybe it did not help.

I still find it hard to believe that Trail Blazers would trade their privilege token, but if they did, it would be Fits perfectly with Zion Williamson.

Lillard still has four years left on his deal, but the kind of superstar who would likely have a say in where he traded, and just because he played for one smaller market team in Portland doesn’t mean he wants to join another team in New Orleans, especially if we take Keep in mind that they don’t even have a head coach.

Charles Lee is one of the names Which continues to be mentioned now that Jack Vaughn has pulled his name out of the feud, but if the Pelicans really wanted to try to lure Damien Lillard to the Big Easy, there’s an obvious choice.

New Orleans Pelicans: David Vanterpool could help drop Damien Lillard

David Vanterpool is a longtime NBA assistant coach who recently worked with the Timberwolves and is a man many believe is destined for the top position.

Count Lillard and teammate C.J. McCollum are on that list, as Vanterpool has been an assistant at Portland for seven years and the two have given him plenty of credit for their development.

When Vanterpool was not assigned to the Minnesota job, Lillard and McCollum spoke:

Lillard in particular was very determined in the way that Interpol helped him as a player and was one of his staunch defenders of securing a head coaching job in the NBA.

Vanterpool has many Qualities that pelicans should look for in their next coach, as he is young, is known to be a good communicator and teacher and has a proven track record of success.

And he happens to be Damien Lillard’s favorite trainer, so if the Pelicans wanted to trade for Lillard, it would be nice to have a guy they love on board.

Of course, the Pelicans will not only hire a man for this purpose, but a qualified Vanterpol candidate deserves a chance either way.
