EA Sports’ popular NFL video game Madden 22 is ready for release next month, and diehard fans of the Miami Dolphins will finally get the home advantage that the team has benefited from since Stephen Ross turned Hard Rock Stadium into the palace we see today.
In EA’s latest installment, teams playing at Hard Rock Stadium (AWAY TEAM) will step faster than the Miami Dolphins (HOME TEAM). This means that those of you who want to start an affiliate franchise with our beloved Miami Dolphins, are finally getting the home field advantage you deserve! It also makes things more realistic considering the away team is burning open in the hot South Florida sun
Some of the other M-factors are not as important as Miami and could swing things a lot more in the home team’s favor. For example, teams playing against the Cleveland Browns will struggle when hot-routing in the red zone, or other teams may see endurance increases.
(As you can see, the New York Jets are so pathetic, EA gave them Miami’s M-Factor by default.)
Nevertheless, as someone who has played beta, I can say that this will not really make or break your experience. In fact, I especially think this feature is implemented to inevitably return to NCAA football.
This is a step closer to Madden being the realistic video game we have long hoped for.
If it’s in the game, it’s in the game.
What are your thoughts on EA implementing home benefits or ‘M-Factors’ for Madden 22? Did you plan to buy Madden 22? Would you be interested in reading about my experience with Beta? Let me know in the comments section below!
