Nick Cannon insisted that none of his sons are “accidents”.
The 40-year-old welcomed his seventh child over the weekend, and has criticized the idea that any of his children were born by accident.
He said on his Power 106 radio show, “I don’t have an accident. There are a lot of people I could have gotten pregnant and I didn’t. Those who got pregnant are the ones who were supposed to get pregnant.”
Nick and girlfriend Alyssa Scott welcomed their son Zayn into the world this weekend, arriving Nick’s fourth child in just six months.
The star and Brittany Bell welcomed her powerful daughter the Queen into the world in December, and Abby De La Rosa gave birth to twins Zion and Zelion in June.
Abby announced that she and Nick — who also has son Golden, four, with Brittany, and 10-year-old Moroccan twins and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey — welcomed their twins into the world on June 14, after revealing her pregnancy in April.
She wrote: “Our dear children – our miraculous children. Thank you for choosing to be your mother. I know that the Lord has identified me and prepared me for one but two little angels.
“I pray that God will give you both the strength to walk bravely and boldly in your individual right just like your father. May God bless you and your brother and guide you to live your full purpose. Your father and I will always be here for both of you; in perfect harmony and support.
