Harness Race Picks: Friday 9th July

Two meetings to consider on Friday, where it caught the attention of Mildura and Tabcorp Park Melton. Below are your best bets for the software in question.

Best Bet: Race Six Number 5 Lennox Bromac
The stable has had a great run with the ex-New Zealanders, especially when racing at Mildura, and I’m sure that will continue here.

His Australian debut came here last Friday, albeit in a weaker race than this, but Gee, was dominant and impressive. Provided he deals with height in depth and layer, he will win again.

Next Best: 1st Race No. 1 Bo Steel
The market would be great here, but I would count on this guy producing his best. I will tolerate his running on Wednesday evening in Shepparton.

Admittedly, he had all the chances up front, but he was very eager to run and that could have come of late. The previous model suggests that the win was close, and overall, this is a significant drop in depth.

Value: seventh race No. 1 without hesitation
This mare hasn’t had much luck with the hurdles in recent races, but all the changes here are with the pole drag, so it will be interesting to see where you landed in the run.

The last effort was more than a good idea, so if you can hold a position forward and score on the right stages, you’ll be hit at odds.

Tabcorp Park Melton

Best Bet: 4th Race No. 1 Our Little Jet
It should be short but sweet. Just forget she went the last time in Stawell.

He did a lot of work out of pace and was a tired horse, finishing a normal third, but with excuses. He should be driving comfortably from the poles with Chris Alford to steer and he is the best to win.

Next Best: The Sixth Race No. 1 Our Classic Reactor
Confident that he can return to the winners list.

A former kiwi who ran three runs in Australia, winning the first two in good style. Short odds when racing here last time but they were forced to sit parked and that hard run just told at the end. He must keep the lead and prove difficult to run.

Value: Seventh Race No. 11 Namuskar
If this girl gets the right draw in the race, she will be seriously at odds. Morals weren’t one hundred percent when I raced here last Friday night, so I want to forgive the running.

He’ll probably get to the back of his favorite hot pot, so if that triples wide at the bell and follows that guy, he’ll have the change more quickly to win.
