Conor McGregor stopped drinking whiskey in preparation for UFC 264

The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is still one of the most debated topics in the MMA world. The infamous is not one to return from a fight and also to spare any expense when it comes to talking waste to his opponents.

The rumor is always open to trash-talking his opponents, but it seems that in the last few years he has not been able to back up what he has said, as evidenced by his loss to Dustin Poirier earlier this year

Many people are currently of the belief that Conor McGregor is simply not as good as he used to be, especially compared to what McGregor was a few years ago. Colby Covington also said that McGregor no longer has any motivation in MMA.

Conor McGregor is also known for living a life of luxury, and his love of whiskey is well known. However, it looks like he has taken a drastic step in preparation for his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier.

While talking to Nick Walshaw, the Irishman revealed that he has not had a single drop of whiskey in training camp while preparing for his match against Dustin Poirier.

“I am a good place in body and mind. I take my health very very seriously. You know, I have not touched the most delicious Irish whiskey proper 12 this camp at all. I haven’t actually touched it since we made the deal, up to $ 700 million, that deal is worth it, and I haven’t celebrated it with a glass yet because I was in camp, so I was focused. I’m excited to have a bit of it afterwards. I want to enjoy it for a few days, it’s my birthday week too. ”

McGregor is definitely focused on his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 10 in their third fight together. Both currently have a win over the other, so we’ll have to see who eventually comes out on top.
