Elite Bradenton (FL), the athlete at IMG Academy, Kion Sapp, is ready to finish his enlistment.
247Sports announced Wednesday that Sabb will announce his college decision on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET on CBS Sports HQ. Sabb is set to choose between Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Penn State and Texas A&M.
Recorded at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Sabb is the 22nd overall inductee in the 2022 class and the No. 2 athlete, according to the industry-created 247Sports composite ratings. Saab, a native of New Jersey, transferred from Williamstown High School to IMG Academy in the graduation season.
June was a busy month for Sabb, as he completed four state visits with one remaining in the fall. Saab began his official visit list in Pennsylvania on June 4 before traveling to Georgia on June 18. This was followed by flights to Michigan on June 22 and Texas A&M on June 25.

Greater safety, at least by high school standards. Already carrying 200 lbs on a 6-foot-2 frame. A talented multi-sport athlete who has thrown an impressive variety of rocks on hardwood over the years. Produced as a wide receiver on Friday nights against major New Jersey public school competition, he is recruited by just about everyone to play defense in college. Takes sharp corners in coverage. The hill descends quickly. He does a good job of reading and responding to what is in front of him. The long arms help make a difference in the pickup point. It featured a physical aspect in the pads and would match the ball carrier in the open field, but it needs to improve block resistance. I ran the track as a ninth grader and posted some decent times, but foot speed was a little question mark without any recently verified athletic scores. He was transferred to IMG Acadmey for his first season where he is expected to be a field safety at the loaded Ascenders High School. He has the look of someone who will eventually impact the Power 5 defense’s backend, but can also appear as a box player and possibly even a hybrid linebacker who excels in coverage if the body continues to fill in. You should become more powerful once you train with a college strength coach and you will likely feel more comfortable working on the defensive side of the ball once the focus has shifted completely toward stopping. The ambiguity of the situation is an added advantage in an era when so many NFL front desks are positioning defenders who can do a variety of different things.
