Giorgio Chiellini awaiting contract talks

Giorgio Chiellini’s agent has revealed that he has not yet heard from Juventus regarding the new contract and has confirmed that the veteran defender has no plans to retire.

Chiellini was one of the stars of Italy’s Euro 2020 winning squad this summer, although his contract with Juventus has now expired and he is currently a free agent.

Defender David Lippi’s agent confirmed that he had been told that the old lady would be in touch to discuss a new deal for his client after the European Championship, but so far the club has not contacted him.
