Cristiano Ronaldo has given absolutely no indication of his desire to leave Juventus this summer, said club director Pavel Nedved.
Ronaldo is still linked with a move to clubs abroad after a poor season with Juventus.
The fact that the 35-year-old has yet to open renewal talks with the old lady despite only one year into his current contract is fanning the flames of his exit rumors.
The arrival of Massimilano Allegri is also a driving force behind those rumours, as the returning manager is presumably not very fond of the star player.
It has even been reported that Juventus has started preparing for life after their superb striker, with FC Barcelona Antoine Griezmann, among others, was said to have in mind.
The Portugal international is currently on a respite from football after an intense campaign in the European Championship 2020. He has been an outstanding player in the tournament, Winning the Golden Boot for his pentathlonHowever, he could not avoid an early exit for Portugal.
“Cristiano is on vacation now,” Nedved said, speaking to Sky Italia. “We have no indication from his entourage regarding his desire to leave Juventus.
“We are waiting for him and he will be back around July 25 as scheduled.”
